Based out of New York City, American artist Alison Ciarleglio has become well known for her creative endeavors in the field
of photography.
Born in the Poconos in Pennsylvania, Ciarleglio had an interest in the arts from an early age. Studying art throughout high school, she went on to continue her education in art at Hunter College in New York City. Earning a double Bachelors degree in Studio Art and Media Studies, she will be graduating in December of 2008.
Alison has been fortunate enough to have a few early honors in the Arts. While attending high school in Florida (2003) she created custom murals around the campus with three other students. Also, while studying at Hunter College one of her photographs was chosen to be featured on the cover of The Brookdale Residence Hall Handbook (2007).
Ciarleglio currently works as a photographer for Hunter's newspaper The Envoy, while also contributing to the college's clubs and athletics.
